On those days when we're all bored inside with nothing better to do to pass the time, a fun do-it-yourself, or DIY, project is a perfectly acceptable way to kill some time.

In addition to being a productive use of one's free time, it can be a great way to save some money, depending on how competent you are at the task at hand.
