Things have changed a lot over the decades. It is interesting to think about how much everything has evolved and advanced. Society is so much different now than it was in the 1960s, and the '60s were not all that long ago, relatively speaking. It can be fun to take a moment to see what life was like back in the day. From changing trends to new technology, the 1960s were a revolutionary decade.

It was revolutionary in terms of social norms, recreation, fashion, and much more. The 1960s are a decade many remark upon, and there are even some particular years that can be remembered fondly. 1964 saw the Beatles in America, the Olympics hosted in Tokyo, and the passage of the Civil Rights Act in the US. There was so much happening this year, and much of it was caught on camera.

So, here we have collected 25 images from 1964 that encapsulate what life looked like back then. It is impossible to capture it all, but some of the essence and vibe can be represented through these images.
