Just like everything else in the world, advertising and marketing have evolved, too. Advertising is something brands, labels, people, and businesses have done for hundreds of years. The world is covered in advertisements for just about anything and everything; there are not many ad-free spaces left anymore. Ads can be found in magazines, online, on billboards, and on every digital screen people look at. Back in the day, ads looked different, especially because of the lack of technology.

Back then, there were no digital ads; of course, all ads were seen on paper, in magazines, or up in windows. The ads themselves featured illustrations and images that just scream old-school. Vintage ads can be pointed out pretty quickly because of their style. They are hand-drawn, have a certain vibe to them, and are sometimes a bit quirky.

It's neat to go back and compare the world of advertising back then to how it is now. Here we have collected 25 ads from many different companies that were probably pretty revolutionary for their time. These ads showcase the lifestyle of the past.
