Canadian rapper Drake decided to be extra creative to promote the gambling platform Stake on his latest Kick livestream showing a new alter-ego inspired by him, Anita Max Wynn.

This isn’t Drake’s first alter-ego, as the singer is also known as Aubrey Drake Graham, The Boy, and Champagne Papi. But what does the new personality mean? Let’s see!

What Does ‘Anita Max Wynn’ Mean?

During his December 18th, 2023, livestream he introduced his alter-ego Anita Max Wynn,, with the new persona coming equipped with a white and baby blue trucker hat. The name is a play on words of the phrase “I need the max win,” a common gambling saying.

The rapper switched to a feminine accent on his livestream to show the cap with the name “Anitta Max Wynn,” which he explained is inspired by his love of gambling (shown below). A clip was later reposted on YouTube[1] by user Manny Wave, garnering roughly 3,000 views and 67 likes in two days.

How Did People Memed ‘Drake’s Alter-Ego’ Kick Livestream?

The combination of the creative alter-ego’s name, Drake’s sudden switch to a feminine tone of voice and the cap itself inspired netizens to create parodies and memes on social media. For instance, on December 24th, 2023, X user @yodeege posted a fanmade animation of “How Drake revealed his alter ego 'Anita Max Wynn'”, which amassed more than 245,000 views and 3,3000 likes in two weeks.

On December 24th, 2023, @champagnepqpi uploaded a 3D-modeled version of Drake transforming into his alter-ego in front of rapper 21 Savage (shown below), which garnered over 19 million plays and 3 million likes in two weeks.
