What Is The Goal In Amanda The Adventurer?

In the game, the goal is to solve puzzles in the overworld that give the player video tapes to then play through and make choices.

During the videotape sessions, the goal is to find the right choices that unlock further puzzles in the overworld, as well as to make it to the last videotape.

Based on the choices made by players in the game, there are different ending scenes that can be viewed and even a secret ending tape that gives background information about the videos and leads to further lore speculation.

Is 'Amanda The Adventurer' Done Or Will There Be A Second Game?

In the first game, the story is not properly resolved by the end of the last videotape. This clued players in that either there would need to be future content added to the game or a second one made entirely, similar to other games in the genre having multiple installments.

On October 19th, 2023, the trailer for the sequel game was released, fueling further speculation that there is much more to discover in this title.

Is 'Amanda The Adventurer' Scary?

There are parts of the game that can be considered scary, such as quick changes to the scenery or in how characters behave that are wildly different and much more frightening in tone, and depending on the choices taken, one scene involving harming an animal takes place, leading to some squeamish players to not enjoy the segment.
