The infamous "67 Kid," who went viral for saying the numbers "6-7" at a basketball game in March 2025, has continued his memetic reign since he first surfaced on YouTube and TikTok earlier this year.

His blonde, "ice cream hair" and the enthusiastic delivery of his favorite, funny numbers mostly repelled a large portion of internet users, who thought he was "cringe." In turn, the 67 Kid founded a new stereotype about Gen Alpha boys, now known as "Mason 67."

Then, in an odd, recent development, the 67 Kid has become uncanny. A glowing blue photoshop of him is spreading as well as a creepy edit of his mouth agape, which netizens have dubbed "SCP-067."

Now, the internet is wondering, should we feel bad for him? While others are still stuck on the question, who is the "67 Kid?" Let's explain further.

Who Is The '67 Kid?'

The "67 Kid" is the name of a young, white boy with blonde hair, who was filmed in a March 2025 YouTube video saying the numbers "six" and "seven," related to the viral "67 meme," based on the lyrics from the rap song "Doot Doot" by Skrilla.

The original video was shared by YouTuber Cam Wilder. The moment happens at the 13:24-minute mark, when the camera pans to the boy and his friends, who are all quoting the meme.

The 67 Kid's real name is Maverick Trevillian, or at least, that's according to his TikTok bio. He used to post on the account @gmpt08, but it was recently banned.

A YouTuber named The Bobo Podcast is seemingly the only person who's actually spoken to Trevillian about his viral fame. In the short clip, he seems nonplussed by the whole thing, and even laughs it off when the host asks him when the last time he said "6-7" was.

Where Did The '67 Kid' Meme Come From?

A few TikTok accounts, like @bstr_edit.z and @the_daily_yt_clipper, clipped the Cam Wilder video and shared the 67 Kid with a new audience.

The TikTokers were likely building on the success of other Cam Wilder clips like "I Was Sleepy," which captured another awkward boy, whose 15 minutes of fame have been bested by his 67-saying successor.

Both aforementioned videos essentially labeled the 67 Kid as "cringe." One included the caption, "67 apocalypse 💔🥀💔," hinting that the world was ending due to Gen Alpha's obsession with the numbers.

What Is The 'Blue 67 Kid' Meme?

The 67 Kid meme almost died out until recently, when it was revived at full strength with an image that was just as haunted as any resurrection is.

The image in question showed Trevillian with a gaping blue mouth and glowing eyes, similar to the "I'M A' FIRIN' MAH LAZER" meme and phonk music edits that add pulsing, lightning eyes to characters.

It's unfortunately unknown who the creator of the uncanny image is, but it first surfaced on TikTok and Twitter in mid-August 2025.

Since then, others have added to the distortion of the 67 Kid's face. A myriad of similar "blue lightning" edits are now available on the web.

What Is The Analog Horror 'SCP-067' Meme?

After the blue edits came the disturbing, creepypasta edits of the 67 Kid, which came to a head this past week, when the name "SCP-067" was coined to describe the phenomenon.

"SCP" is a reference to the internet wiki, the SCP Foundation, which hosts creative writing of descriptions about containment procedures of fictional objects and entities that are considered scientific anomalies, often posing a threat to society or the personnel containing them.

The original eerie edit was a mock "anti-piracy screen," similar to the "King Von Anti-Piracy Screen" meme. It was shared by TikToker @kingphonk_ back in August 2025.
