What Is The 'Nosey Project Animatronic'? The Creepy Giant Robot Created By TikToker Citra Explained
If you’ve been scrolling TikTok or X / Twitter lately, chances are you’ve stumbled across various clips, memes and reactions of a massive, rabbit-like robot taking shape in someone’s dimly lit workshop.
That project, known as the "Citra Animatronic" or the "Nosey Project," is the creation of TikToker Citra (@benjamin_pochurek), whose ambitious plan is to construct a 10-foot-tall animatronic named Nosey that’s fireproof, waterproof, bulletproof, capable of silent movement and able to sprint at speeds of up to 32 MPH.
As Citra shares progress updates throughout the summer of 2025 into late August, Nosey has captivated and unsettled viewers alike as the robot has gone viral online.
Many, including the creator himself, have begun comparing the towering rabbit bot to something straight out of Five Nights at Freddy’s or the analog horror series The Walten Files. What started as a DIY robotics experiment has quickly turned into a viral phenomenon, sparking equal parts awe and dread across the web lately.
So, what is Citra's Nosey Project all about? Let's explain the origins behind it, as well as the recent influx of reactions to it.
What Is The 'Citra Animatronic,' And Why Is It Called The 'Nosey Project'?
Citra first introduced TikTok to his project back on June 10th, 2025, when he uploaded a video titled "Progress Report No. 1." The TikTok, filmed in his garage at night, shows him walking viewers through the early stages of the robot’s construction, highlighting its partially assembled legs, feet, arms and hands, all while discussing his plans.
The post quickly gained traction on the platform, reaching more than 2.9 million views, 245,000 likes and 6,800 comments in about two months. Many responses in the comment section began joking about the unsettling appearance of the build, framing Nosey as something out of a horror franchise.

Just a few days later, Citra then shared reference sketches for the animatronic’s intended final design, noting that its look was inspired by The Walten Files. This post also garnered significant attention, accumulating nearly a million views in a similar timeframe.
