The allegations originated from VTuber HemomalVT, sparking a wave of memes and reactions in recent days, including a lot of backlash towards Sykkuno and a few cut ties between his streaming collaborators.

What Is The 'Sykkuno' Cheating Drama?

Sykkuno is a well-known streamer with a large following. He rose to prominence with his gaming content, streaming games like Among Us and Valorant, and for his love of anime.

Then, in April 2026, VTuber HemomalVT published a 32-page Google Doc, accusing Sykkuno of cheating on his girlfriend of five years with her.

The document included flirtatious DMs between both herself and Sykkuno and other girls and Sykkuno. According to the Doc, Sykkuno pretended he was single when talking to the girls.

Sure enough, many others made accusations against Sykkuno over the following days. The allegations spread, and Sykkuno garnered significant backlash on social media.

Among the backlash was a lot of memes about Sykkuno. Some people made fun of his DMs and his forced "shy anime boy" persona, painting this as a tactic he used to attract women.

Some of his Twitch collaborators also seemingly cut ties with him, including Valkyrae and Pokimane, the former of which called Sykkuno's actions "disappointing."

How Did Sykkuno Respond To The Cheating Allegations?

Sykkuno responded to the cheating accusations by releasing a statement on X / Twitter on April 16th, 2026. The statement includes both Sykkuno's response to the allegations and his girlfriend's response to them.

In the response, Sykkuno confirms he was unfaithful and insists that he and his girlfriend have been working on their relationship behind the scenes for months. He apologizes to everyone he disappointed and announces a break from streaming to better himself.

He also claims that some of the allegations spreading online about him are false.
