What's With All The TikToks About 'Wedding Lineup Ideas'? Memes About The 'Second Bridesmaid' Walking Out To Insane Song Choices Explained

For some brides, wedding planning is like a military drill where everything runs on precise timing and every beat matters. But what happens when the bridezilla forgets to account for the fact that her bridesmaids aren't Usain Bolt?
That's the truth nuke that hit TikToker @fabhann when she shared her dream entrance set to Alex Warren's popular ballad "Ordinary" back in March 2025.

Her idea was sweet, but the pacing was brutal, leaving her imaginary bridesmaids sprinting on double time to make it to their cue before the bride's entrance.
The video initially spawned memes in which people limbered up to prepare for her choreography, but Gen Z TikTokers took her concept and leaned in, pitching wedding lineup songs that were way more unhinged than hers.
Here's a recap of the "Wedding Lineup Ideas" taking over TikTok and Instagram.
What's With Jokes About The 'Second Bridesmaid Running?'
On March 21st, 2025, @fabhann posted a TikTok announcing she'd found her dream wedding song. She didn't have a date or even a groom in mind, but she did have a plan for her dream bridal entrance: Her bridesmaids walking down the aisle one by one until she made her grand entrance set to the chorus of the song "Ordinary" by Alex Warren.
@fabhann the wedding version of this song is PERFECT 😭 @Alex Warren #weddingsong ♬ Ordinary (Wedding Version) – Alex Warren
Her video netted over 30 million views, but people were quick to point out that her plan barely left any time for the second bridesmaid to walk down the aisle, and people quickly began churning out videos jokingly exhibiting the level of athleticism the bride's party would have to sign up for.
The TikTok page @hallfarmsweddings posted one such video on March 28th, showing three "bridesmaids" sprinting down the aisle trying to keep up with the beat. This video also went viral, racking up over 30 million views and 4 million likes in two months, almost outpacing @fabhann’s original 31 million-view post.

Things got to the point where even Alex Warren, the original singer of "Ordinary," got in on the jokes.
In late March 2025, Warren posted a video racing on a treadmill and joked about how he's practicing to be the "second bridesmaid" in @fabhann's would-be wedding while accumulating over 3.3 million likes for his participation in the trend.
@alexmakesadsongs I understand now BAHHAHA
What's Up With All The 'Wedding Lineup TikToks'?
The irony-pilled Gen Z masses on TikTok were a bit late to the come-up on the joke, but by mid-June 2025, they had their own terrible takes on wedding entrance songs.
On June 22nd, TikToker @constantijoeple kicked off the meme on a strong note, posting a straight-faced video that made a case for how the default "Creepy and simple horror background music" sound on TikTok would make for a good wedding lineup song, gathering over 8 million plays and 1.5 million likes in four days.

That same day, TikToker @therealsamwisegamgee dropped her own lineup, in which the wedding party characters included "random guy," "groom's ex" and a cloud of "poisonous mist." She set her wedding event to an aptly cursed soundtrack, raked in 2 million views for her efforts, and sent the wedding lineup trend off the deep end.

What Are Some More 'Wedding Lineup TikToks'?
On June 24th, 2025, TikToker @tay.mp333 posted a video about her wedding lineup idea, showing the bride and groom's party exiting to a ballroom drag sound while doing "death drops." The video gathered over 22 million plays and 4 million likes in two days.
@tay.mp333 EDIT: YALL I MEANT A MAJORETTE TYPE DEATH DROP NOT A DIP AS IT IS EASIER FOR THE CONCEPT THAT I HAD IN MIND WHILE MAKING THIS. I see how it can be confusing as I used the song with the word “vogue” in the title and vogue in my captions on the code yes, but I didn’t know that I couldn’t add a death drop to MY own video idea. Please stop disrespecting each other in the comments!!!🫶🏾 But start stretching everyone I will be waiting to see these 🗣️ #weddinglineup #queer #voguing #deathdrop #dip #majorettedance #weddingceremony #bride #weddingtiktok #wedding #fyp ♬ son original – Mackenzie
Then, on June 25th, Instagram user @notmarkiee posted his take on the "Wedding Lineup" meme, showing how the bride and groom's party could enter via parachute and stage mechanics, all set to a dramatic remix of the song "Rockstar" by Post Malone.
The video went on to gather over 1 million plays and 96,000 likes in just a day, with comments calling for dry ice and lasers to get added to the mix.
