Back in mid-January 2025, underground rapper Civ started teasing a new song called "1 AM." The undeniably catchy song starts with the lyrics, "Pop out at one in the morning" and at this point, those lyrics are stuck in the heads of just about everyone who spends any time on TikTok.

In the many videos, Civ has posted advertising the song, an AI-generated bear wearing a suit sings the lyrics of the track. The bear is always in a different location or setting, with some even featuring him in images from shows and movies.

Seemingly, Civ represents himself through the bear exclusively and has used the bear to advertise other songs, a tactic that has really worked for him with the rollout of "1 AM."

How Is '1 AM' By Civ Used In Memes?

Civ has posted dozens of videos of the AI bear singing the song throughout January and February 2025, with just about every video gaining hundreds of thousands to millions of views.

A lot of people are seemingly obsessed with the song and have been using the original sound to lip-dub and dance to it themselves, as well as post memes under it, especially on TikTok.

Many of the memes hype up the song, calling it a surprise banger from a mostly unknown artist. Now, fans can finally listen to the full song, as it was released in full today.
