In early 2025, pop star Lady Gaga sent shockwaves through the music industry with "Abracadabra," her first single in two years.
The avant-garde music video, reminiscent of her OG "Alejandro" era, was a smash hit, raking in millions of views at a time when music videos just didn't hit the same way they used to for many people.
As fans celebrated Mother Monster's return to her theatrical roots, many sought out Staten Harry — the once-viral "Little Monsters Kid" known for his cutesy Gaga lip-sync videos back in 2018.

But what they discovered left many heartbroken: The formerly flamboyant teen had undergone a dramatic transformation, rejecting his past and embracing strict religious beliefs. Here's a look back at how Staten first went viral, and how he reacts to his past fame today.
Who Is Staten Harry and Why Do People Call Him the Little Monsters Gaga Kid?
Staten Harry was an 11-year-old Twitter icon in 2018, operating a fan account on which he regularly posted flamboyant lip-sync videos of Lady Gaga's chart-toppers. His performances included tracks like "Bad Romance," "Hair" and "Born This Way," and a lot of his videos were recorded in his room, wearing a Gaga tee, and surrounded by his toys and knick-knacks.
The preteen's infectious smile made an appearance every time he greeted his fellow Gaga fans as "Little Monsters," with a video of him bopping to Gaga's "Alejandro" becoming one of his most viral hits in August 2018. Before starting the track, he tells his viewers to keep their "paws up," a classic Gaga-ism, and says, "Let's go, everyone better by jumpin'!"
However, that's not the Staten Harry clip that went viral in 2018. There's another video in which he sings "Telephone" by Gaga, dressed in yet another Gaga T-shirt. The funniest part of the video is Harry making sure to thank several of his friends by name at the end of the clip, saying, "I love you! Byee Grant, Ally, Jack, Zack and Bree!"
Staten's energy and unwavering love for Gaga earned him the affectionate moniker "Little Monsters Gaga Kid," a nod to Gaga's fans who are known as "Little Monsters."
Staten quickly gathered over 15,000 Twitter followers who eagerly waited for him to post his lip-sync videos weekly in 2018. When he wasn't recording himself, Staten was working hard in the fan-account mines, interacting with other Gaga fans, tweeting at her and making friends online.
How Did The 'Little Monsters Kid' Become A Meme?
Staten Harry's videos eventually became a popular Stan Twitter meme template in 2018, with people clipping and chopping his videos to fit their tweets and create myriad jokes.
For instance, in late August 2018, Twitter user @PatchNavillus took the bit where Staten thanks all his friends to joke about what it feels like when you exit an Uber Pool and leave all your new-found friends.

Another Twitter user from December of that year joked about how Twitch streamers rattle off their biggest subscribers and supporters at the end of a stream to thank them for their support.

Staten's antics even earned him a shout-out from Gaga herself in late August 2018, who wrote on her official Twitter account, "Paws Up Harry!! You're So Cute!!" Staten later replied to the tweet saying, "oh my freaking goodness this is a TOTAL DREAM COME TRUE!"

But sometime after the 2020 lockdown, Staten's fans realized that it had been a long time since they had heard from him or seen any more Gaga updates on his page.
Some people even set out to track him down online, with a Twitter account called "Where Is Staten Harry" trying to solicit information about the Little Monster in October 2021 — years since he'd last been seen on the internet.

Where Is Staten Harry Now, and What Does He Think About His Fame?
Staten's fans did not get a real update on his whereabouts or well-being until 2022 when his social media presence took a dramatic turn.
On a new YouTube channel, an older Staten presented himself as a markedly different person — one who viewed his past devotion to Lady Gaga as "demonic" and now spent his time devoting himself to God.
In late March 2022, he posted a YouTube Short in which he talked about how he used to "exalt" Gaga, had thousands of pictures of her on his phone and cutouts of her on his walls. The post concluded with him expressing gratitude to God for "saving" him from celebrity worship.

On July 16th, 2022, Twitter user @wheresmywigggg posted a clip from a YouTube video in which an older Staten can be seen in a room with all the walls covered in Bible quotes. Staten still has some remnants of his quirky charm, but his obsession with Gaga has now clearly been replaced by his Christian beliefs.

People reposted a number of clips of Staten's 2022 YouTube channel, including one in which he talked, somewhat obliviously, about how much he enjoyed recording videos from his literal closet.
Despite the jokes, fans of the Little Monster Kid couldn't believe the transformation he had undergone, and many of them expressed concern for his safety and well-being after seeing this dramatic change in his life.
Staten eventually ended up deleting this YouTube account, but this wasn't his last stint on the internet.

Where Can You Find Staten Harry Today?
Staten Harry made a new YouTube and TikTok channel on February 1st, 2025, where he began a series called "Precious Faith," basically giving mini Bible sermons to his audience. One of his first videos back showed him sitting in a car (he's not driving age) wearing muted, dark attire and a large cross. Fans also noticed the Staten had developed a noticeable Southern drawl.
Unfortunately for Staten, Lady Gaga dropped her smash hit single "Abracadrabra" on February 2nd, prompting all the Little Monsters to gather in Staten's comments sections and beg him for a reaction video.
However, his response was unequivocal: He was not going engage with Lady Gaga's content now that deemed her fanbase "demonic."
Staten also cleared the air about why he had made such a drastic change in his life. Sometime between his viral fame in late 2018 and his reappearance online in 2022, he was sent to a Christian conversion camp that he claims had "changed him for the better," and he was now making TikToks to try and raise enough money to try and attend a ministry getaway.

While Staten Harry's transformation has shocked and saddened many in the Little Monsters community, it's clear that his former fans only have one wish — for him to find genuine happiness and peace.
Perhaps one day Staten might find a way to see God in Gaga after all.
