The image, which shows HaeSicks (also known as Shae) smiling with some nachos and a beer, has gone viral numerous times since it was posted earlier in 2025, and now it's experiencing its biggest virality yet thanks to a viral comment and meme.

HaeSicks is a content creator with over 80,000 YouTube subscribers, 28,000 Twitch followers, 98,000 Twitter followers and 700,000 Instagram followers as of mid-June 2025.
Her real name is Shae Hicks and she is from Hazard, Kentucky. She's mostly known for her gaming streams, her Appalachian accent and her Fansly content, where she boasts over 46,000 followers.
In April 2024, HaeSicks posted a photo on Instagram of herself smiling while holding a beer and some nachos. The post description reads, "Went to the mushroom festival 🫶🏻🍄" and includes two other photos of mushrooms. It gained over 54,000 likes in about a year, then started going viral elsewhere on social media.

What Is The 'How Are Some People Gay Bro' Meme?
The photo of HaeSicks at the mushroom festival first went viral on March 5th, 2025, when X user @accipiter0 posted a screenshot of the photo with a comment on the bottom reading, "How are some n----s gay bro." The post gained over 250,000 likes in just three months.
HaeSicks even commented on the virality in a post, reading, "This picture of me went platinum on here 😭."

Three months later, in June, the meme started going viral again after it was posted by the @S-postgate X / Twitter account to over 200,000 likes in three days.
It got another 9,300 likes from a repost by the X account @GarbageHuman24, then got 21,000 upvotes on a meme subreddit before being deleted.
Once again, HaeSicks responded in a post reading, "Why does that one picture of me keep going viral 😭."
