Skweezy Jibbs is an alter ego personality created by the comedian Tim Savage. Known for his exuberant speech and habit of traveling around the world, he makes most of his adventures while sporting a sideways baseball cap. Throughout his early career, Jibbs was well-known for traveling around the world and posting photos, vlogs, and commentary about his experiences.
Jibbs has been active on YouTube since 2007, consistently posting videos as the Skweezy Jibbs persona, garnering 57,000 subscribers as of March 2024.
Skweezy has plenty of followers on other social media platforms as well, with his biggest being his TikTok page, garnering over 4 million followers. One of his most popular videos is that of him finding himself in a massive riot in Colombia, posted on February 20th, 2023 and receiving over 14 million views (shown below).

How Did Skweezy Grow Popular?
As already mentioned, Jibbs grew popular due to his odd gravitation towards always being in the wrong place at the wrong time. His TikTok page is a great depository of all his shenanigans throughout his career. Skweezy Jibbs' content also involves politically-themed jokes, which him trying to portray himself as a conservative and then ending up accidentally endorsing a liberal view.
His most popular example is when he tried to show his support for the Black Lives Matter movement, only to find himself at the wrong "BLM," which was the headquarters of the Bureau of Land Management (shown below).

Other famous examples of Skweezy's shenanigans include him driving several miles in search of Wendy's chicken nuggets. His original Twitter post documenting his travels even received a reply from the official @Wendys Twitter account (seen below).
How Is Skweezy Jibbs Popular In Meme Culture?
Jibbs has become an internet icon, particularly due to his habit of always getting himself in the weirdest situations. There have been plenty of memes on the internet about the character, especially the fact that he speaks in a very eccentric tone, often in all caps.
One popular meme called "I went to India, not Indiana" refers to a joke in which he claims to have accidentally traveled to India after mixing it up with Indiana. In late 2019, the exchange blew up on Facebook and Reddit as an exploitable, with Jibbs accidentally mixing up other similarly-named places.
