The video went certifiably viral, garnering over 1 million likes in less than a week. However, top comments on the video largely sided with the female employee. "Grown man harassing a girl over McDonald's coffee," wrote one user. "You're arguing with Hello Kitty 😭🤣," said another.

A day after the video went viral, the female McDonald's employee revealed herself as TikToker @t3h0nlyvvxdreamy, when she posted a video explaining the situation.

She claimed that the guy filming had come through the drive-thru and was rude to her from the get-go. After calling her a series of slurs, she refused to serve him his morning coffee. Plus, she said she was working a solo shift from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., and he came at the tail end of it.

Her video also received over a million likes, and she's since doubled down on her newfound following by posting another video with the iconic pink hoodie tucked away in the closet this time.
