Now, there's a new vandalism trend coming out of the Balkans known as the Satana trend and it's got kids making black marks all across the floors of their schools. Here's what you need to know.

What Is The 'Satana Trend' On TikTok?
Near the end of February, TikToker @stafon71, purportedly from the Balkans, posted a video where he puts a black mark across the floor by dragging the heel of his shoe across it. It's unclear where exactly he is, but he appears to be sitting at a desk. The video went viral with over 30 million views, with a video of him cleaning the scuff mark gaining another 25 million.
Soon after @stafon71's video, other TikTokers began following in his foot-scuffs and doing the same thing. The video is set to a remix of the song "Satana Eto Ona" by XATUBA, earning the trend the name "Satana trend."

How Is The 'Satana Trend' Done On TikTok?
The Satana trend has inspired tons of viral videos in a few short weeks. Most of the time, the trend seems to be done at school, inspiring reaction memes about school janitors dreading hearing the song "Satana Eto Ona" in the halls. Purportedly, the scuffs can be very hard to remove from the floors.
Some people are putting little twists on the trend by scuffing the floors in strange-looking shoes or making it appear as if they're going to scuff the floor only to bait-and-switch the viewer. In one viral example, one TikToker makes black marks on the floor while another person with white shoes seemingly erases the marks.
