Man Goes Viral For Showing How Rich People's Dogs Travel Better Than Most Humans
A man and his golden retriever have attracted millions of views after documenting their experience aboard a luxurious private jet service designed specifically for people traveling with dogs.
The high-end service offers an assortment of amenities for both humans and their canine companions, including special dog treats and spa treatments.
Footage of the extravagant journey has since gone viral, racking up more than 2.7 million views on TikTok and 2.2 million on Instagram in just four days.
The experience was documented by Ethan Gaskill, a New York City-based social media content creator known online as @ethancgaskill.
His videos primarily focus on home design, interior decorating, fashion and beauty, alongside occasional glimpses of his everyday life. Gaskill has attracted widespread attention with several previous posts, building an audience interested in his lifestyle and design-related content.
The trip came as Gaskill was relocating from Los Angeles to New York City with his golden retriever, Blondie. Wanting to keep his dog by his side throughout the journey, he chose an unconventional and expensive alternative to commercial air travel.
His now-viral video offers viewers a look at how the pair made the cross-country move, with Blondie's experience becoming the main attraction and drawing widespread interest from animal lovers online.

The video starts with Gaskill and Blondie in front of the camera in Gaskill’s Los Angeles apartment. A voice-over by Gaskill plays over the video, and he has also written, "Flying on a dog airline," on it. "In case you didn't know, dog airlines exist, and they are maybe one of the best things ever," he states.
"Today is Blondie and I's first and maybe last time trying it," he continues, and the video switches from Blondie and him in his apartment to them in a car, "but because we're moving from LA to New York, there aren't a lot of options for transporting medium- to large-sized pets, so this is what we went with," he explains, showing them arriving at an airport.
"They started around 8 a.m. at Van Nuys Airport," Gaskill says, showing them entering the airport. "The airplane terminal was independent, so it wasn't at like LAX or any major airports like that," he says, showing a lobby and their boarding pass, which also looks independently made and has the company's Instagram QR code.
"Wanted us to arrive an hour early so all the dogs get to know each other to make sure everyone got along," he explains, as the video shows Blondie interacting with other dogs, "and they kind of decide the seating arrangements based off of how the dogs engage with one another," he continues.
"Now, because these flights are super expensive, I was trying to do as much research as I could to figure out what the best one was," Gaskill says, as the video shows Blondie and him outside of a private jet, "I went with Bark Air; there are a few others like Canine, and think one's called JSX," he says, as Blondie and him board the plane.
"But, speaking from my experience on this flight," Gaskill continues, showing the plane's interior where other passengers are seated with their dogs, "the Bark Air team was so incredible, you can really tell these people love dogs," he states, showing Blondie and himself in their seats and the flight menu, which has options for both humans and dogs.
"If you want to be a flight attendant but you also love dogs, I would honestly explore this option, 'cause it did seem like such a fun job," he says, showing more footage of Blondie, the other passengers, and himself in the flight.
"'Cause we are flying direct, flight was only about four hours, but we were entertained the entire time," Gaskill says, showing more footage of the flight.
"As the dog owner, the luxury here was just peace of mind knowing your dogs were comfortable," he continues, showing Blondie eating food from a cup that a flight attendant is holding out for her, "but for the dogs, it really was a first-class experience."
"They started first with puppy cappuccinos, and they moved on to 'chompagne,' which is, I think, bone broth and water," he explains, showing the dogs enjoying these treats.
"Dogs were welcome to roam on the plane, but they did have to be leashed up so they could move around a little bit and socialize and stretch their legs," Gaskill explains, showing more videos of Blondie and the other dogs on the luxurious private jet.
"Towards the end of the flight, they brought around a spa cart and started doing spa treatments on the dogs," he says, showing the food he ordered for himself.
"So, first got scalp massages, and then they got a bandana and some perfume; they got their noses and their feet treated with a special hydrating bomb, since being on a plane can be very dehydrating for dogs and humans too," he recounts, showing Blondie and other dogs getting massaged on the scalp with brushes and getting bandanas put on them.
"But my favorite part was when they put the captain's hat on Blondie and took our photo," he says, showing himself and Blondie on their seats, with Blondie wearing a blue captain's hat and the polaroids they got.
"It was nice to have a keepsake of the memory, 'cause I'm not sure when or if I'll ever do this again unless I move," Gaskill expresses, as the video shows the plane landing, and the passengers getting off the plane and into a bus.
"After the flight we hopped in our car and made our way to our new home in New York City," Gaskill concludes, showing Blondie and himself in a car.
In the comments, people expressed that they appreciated the existence of an airline that treats dogs as well as Bark Air does, and some even talked about their positive experiences flying with them.
Many also pointed out the flights' expensive prices, ranging from $6,000 to $10,000 per person and dog. Many commenters also joked about their dogs calling them poor since they couldn't afford a flight like the one shown in the video.
