The Weekly Meme Roundup: Anakin Skywalker, W Chews, Liberty Biberty And More
Spit out those L nibbles because it's time for the ultimate W chew, also known as the Weekly Meme Roundup, where we catch you up on five of the biggest memes of the past week.
This week in memes, Anakin Skywalker became the ultimate representation of Gen Z anger (at least among certain men). The "Bicep Heart trend" made social media users thirsty. Liberty Biberty got all the hate he deserves and more.
Here are five big memes from the past week that you need to know about.
Frutiger Aero Yams
First up, we have the strange "Frutiger Aero Yams" meme, a purposefully confusing response to the love people have for the Frutiger Aero aesthetic.
For those who don't know, Frutiger Aero is an aesthetic that was popular in the 2010s. It's most associated with Windows Vista or 7 and is characterized by glossy textures, natural imagery like water, plants, clouds and sort of dreamy, aurora-like imagery. Think lots of rolling green fields and sparkling blue water.
This aesthetic is very nostalgic for a lot of Gen Z, and even Millennial web users, but some people don't fully know what is and isn't Frutiger Aero. Thus, the Frutiger Aero Yams meme was born.
These memes use the term "Frutiger Aero yams," with "yams" meaning "buttocks," to tease people who are obsessed with the aesthetic. The memes involve jokes about pointing out Frutiger Aero yams, and someone being unable to help themselves from looking.
Many of the memes are absurd by nature and strive to make no sense. Others are taking the phrase literally and creating yams, the vegetable, in the Frutiger Aero style.
Examples
Liberty Biberty
Liberty Biberty is the current mascot for Liberty Mutual, and the internet hates him so much that they protested his very existence.
Liberty Mutual introduced their new mascot back in July, and ever since then he's been getting hate online. Designed by Jim Henson's Creature Workshop, Liberty Biberty is basically just a yellow puffball with a human face and a crown from the Statue of Liberty. But why do people hate him so much?
Some people think the design of the character is lazy, while others simply think he's annoying and can't measure up to the company's previous mascots.
While he's been getting hate for months, that hate has really ramped up recently, to the point where there was actually a protest held outside Liberty Mutual's headquarters to try and end Biberty's reign of terror once and for all.
Did the protest work? We don't really know, yet. But one thing is for sure: Liberty Mutual knows how the people feel.

W Chews
Are you looking for a new, hip way to tell all your friends and family that you like your food? Well, look no further, because "W chews" has arrived.
The term "W chews," which means "good food," started spreading on X / Twitter at the end of October through a viral tweet. From there, it was given an opposite counterpart, "L nibbles," which means "bad food." Simple enough, right?
TikTokers picked up on the terms in the past week and decided to use the power of AI to turn the terms into full-blown brainrot memes. These memes focus on generating videos of Mini Producer, a recently beloved subject of memes, eating food and deeming it either "W chews" or "L nibbles."
The memes are absurd and very aware of that fact. Many of the videos feature the waiter expressing confusion over the terms, with Mini Producer responding, "It's new lingo, you wouldn't get it."

Anakin Skywalker Gen Z Male Rage Memes
Gen Z men have a whole lot of things to be angry about, and now they're using Anakin Skywalker to represent their rage in a viral series of memes on X.
It all started when X user @fool2theworld made a post suggesting that Anakin is an incel. From there, X user @Templarpilled made a post sharing an image of a very angsty-looking Anakin under a list of reasons why Anakin is mad, some of which young Gen Z males might relate to.
This got the train rolling for a whole meme format, where images and videos of Anakin being dark and brooding are attached to reasons that Gen Z males might be unhappy with living in 2026.
Many of these are political in nature and right-leaning, while some take a more silly, self-aware approach to the meme.

Bicep Heart Trend
Finally, we have the "Bicep Heart trend," a thirst trap trend on TikTok and Reels that has participants making hearts using, you guessed it, their biceps.
This trend first started spreading at the end of October, and now it's all over the place. Basically, it involves flexing your bicep, pointing your fingers out straight, then using your free hand to make a heart shape.
The point? To get people thirsting in the comments section, apparently.
These videos are all over TikTok and Reels right now, collecting millions of views. There are also a lot of related videos going viral where users beg for people to send them Bicep Heart videos, their thirst on full display.
Now, there are even some animated versions of the trend popping up here and there for those of us who are more into thirsting for cartoons than real people.
