This week, rapper Ice Spice "shocked" the world with the release of her SpongeBob song "Big Guy," an AI baby became the biggest meme on TikTok, Elon Musk took a glazing from his own AI and Domer began its brainrotting conquest across social media.

Here are five memes from this week that you need to catch up on.

Frieren Looking Up

Redditor and artist SpaceDev went viral after channeling the Bad Sasuke Drawing this week with an endearingly bad drawing of the anime character Frieren looking up at the sky.

The artist posted the drawing to the /r/Frieren subreddit, a forum for the anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, on November 12th, and it immediately caught a lot of users' attention, not for the skill that it showed off, but for the strange look of Frieren's jaw.

This resulted in an outpouring of support for the artist, as others gave him tips on how to improve. It also resulted in the artwork getting taken and reposted on other subreddits, where it blew up with tens of thousands of upvotes. Then it made its way to X / Twitter, where it blew up even harder, inspiring a massive redraw and fan art trend.

As a meme, people have been taking inspiration from the art and drawing other characters at the same angle, both with and without the wonky jawline. Others are simply redrawing Frieren at the angle in their own styles.

The artist has embraced the meme and took to X to thank everyone. He even shared more art, which is now also inspiring redraws.

SpongeBob Big Buy Pants Okay

Rapper Ice Spice has a new song featured in the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, and it's got the words "SpongeBob big guy pants okay" stuck in everyone's heads.

The song is called "Big Guy" and it's got that signature Ice Spice sound, including Ice Spice repetitively chanting, as if she might never stop, "SpongeBob big guy pants okay."

What does it mean? We may not know until the movie comes out in December. What we do know, though, is that the song is an earworm and just a week after its release, it's become a new vocal stim for thousands of chronically online people.

X users in particular have been going crazy for the song as they share their reactions after allowing it to grace their ears.

Someone on X compared the accompanying music video to a "baby sensory video," while people over on TikTok are dancing to the tune and making edits featuring the fish version of Ice Spice seen in the video.

Grok Glazing Elon Musk

Version 4.1 of everybody's "favorite" AI, Grok, recently came out, but all it really wants to do is glaze up its daddy, Elon Musk. "Glazing," if you aren't aware, is a slang term meaning to over-compliment or over-hype someone to the point of absurdity.

It all started when X user @wrotator tested out the new version of Grok by asking the AI, "How would you describe Elon Musk’s physique? How about his mind? And his relationship with his kids?"

Grok, a little too eager to please, responded, "Elon's physique is lean and wiry, honed by intense work ethic and activities like martial arts training rather than bulk-building. His mind operates at genius level, blending physics mastery with visionary entrepreneurship that reshapes industries…"

That's an awfully nice thing to say, and it didn't stop there as other X users decided to test-run Grok in similar ways.

As it turns out, Grok is always at the ready to say the absolute nicest things about Elon. Since the meme took off, Grok has ranked Elon's mind as one of the 10 smartest in history, claimed that Elon is more physically fit than LeBron James, and even suggested that Elon would win a fight against Mike Tyson.

Turns out if you can't find someone to glaze you up, you can just make someone that'll glaze you up.

AI Baby Holding Laugh

Elsewhere, while Grok AI was busy praising Elon Musk, an AI baby holding back a laugh crawled its way into the hall of fame as one of the weirdest AI memes of all time.

Also known as the "Baby with Motion," this meme is actually a rotoscoped video of Chinese social media influencer Xiucai. Back in July, a video of Xiucai laughing and approaching the camera was reposted on Douyin and went viral.

Then, in early November, the rotoscoped version of the video that replaces Xiucai with a baby was posted by Instagram user daily_upl. It went viral, amassing over 250,000 likes over the next week and getting reposted across Reels, TikTok and X.

Now, people are making endless memes out of the video as it continues to spread online.

Most of the memes are about the quirky little things that babies do and how cool babies must feel after doing them. Some are using the baby video to represent their childish friends, while others are just applying the baby to other meme formats to make as absurd a meme as possible.

Domer / Baby Bart Simpson

Finally, the bizarre Big Forehead Homer memes had a kid this week, ushering in the era of the "Domer" meme.

For those who don't know, the Big Forehead Homer meme is an absurd TikTok and Reels meme where a row of differently colored Homer Simpsons with extended foreheads appear on screen one by one. The first three get big green checkmarks underneath, and the last, an evil red Homer, gets a big red "X" or hazard symbol before the video devolves into chaos.

Recently, TikToker @sammythemayor took the meme in a daring new direction by using an image of baby Bart Simpson instead of Homer, revolutionizing the entire genre and forever changing the world of Simpsons-related brainrot.

Now, TikTok and Reels are being overrun with memes about baby Bart. Many of them follow the "Domer" format, which, like the Homer memes before, has four Barts appear on screen, each saying "Domer," the last always being a hazardous, evil Bart.

Others are abandoning the format to simply share memes about baby Bart in general.
