Crank up the "Cosplay," it's time for another edition of the Weekly Meme Roundup!

This week in memes, a jester named Hugh Morris stole the hearts of online artists everywhere, the Golden Dandelion made aging (in Minecraft) a thing of the past, Roblox's CEO got inflicted with some major curses and more.

Here are five of the biggest memes from the past week that you need to catch up with.

Hugh Morris

It seems like every week now we get a new jester to go crazy over, and this week we got a funny little guy named Hugh Morris.

A Nintendo Direct stream recently took place for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, a life-sim type of game starring Miis.

During the stream, an extended gameplay trailer was shown off, which includes a custom-made jester character named Hugh Morris, a play on the word "humorous." Hugh is a bit of a menace in the trailer and even manages to steal the heart of the player's love interest.

But judging by the internet's reaction to the character, who can blame him?

Hugh Morris and his funny little pose quickly inspired memes and fan art on social media, ranging from wholesome to risqué. His signature catchphrase, "I feel a bit more like myself," also took off, inspiring redraws and featuring in many posts about the character.

It's safe to say a lot of people are going to be remaking Mr. Morris when the game releases.

Viva La Vida by Cosplay

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat had a few laughs thrown his way this week, thanks to a resurfaced video of him mistaking the name of both the band Coldplay and their biggest song.

@ejbowazppgr 😭😭 #kaicenat #fypシ #gifttok #goviral #amp ♬ ༒ – user54860655747

In the video, which was originally posted back in October 2024, Cenat is interviewed by a man on the street. The interviewer asks him to describe his outfit with a song. Cenat immediately says, "Viva la vidia by Cosplay," butchering the actual name of the song and band, "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay.

To top things off, Cenat asks the interviewer if he's ever heard of Coldplay, who are undeniably one of the most well-known bands on Earth.

Combine this with the viral memes about Kai Cenat being performative, and the video was a no-brainer hit.

After resurfacing, the video became the subject of memes that poke fun at Cenat for mistaking the song and the artist while claiming to be a fan.

Other streamers reacted to the clip, and it was remixed with other popular memes, giving a clip that was mostly forgotten a big boost in virality.

Golden Dandelion

Minecraft is getting ready to unleash the Golden Dandelion on players everywhere, and already it's become a brainrot meme.

@kenpal76 then we got the golden dandelion camman18 #goldendandelion #meme #wiedlak #fyp ♬ original sound – aran

The Golden Dandelion is a new flower in Minecraft. When fed to a baby animal, that animal will stay a baby forever. This much-requested feature is only available in a recent snapshot build of Minecraft right now, but that hasn't stopped it from going viral.

That virality can largely be attributed to YouTuber camman18, who posted a video showcasing the flower where he states, "Then we got the golden dandelion, which is a golden dandelion."

Camman18's delivery of the arguably redundant line struck a lot of viewers as funny. The clip was reuploaded to TikTok several times and started going viral as the subject of brainrot edits and memes.

Like other brainrot memes, the clip is edited in a variety of insane ways and remixed with other memes to make the viewer feel like they're going insane.

Now, the clip is being remixed into songs, giving the meme a new layer and ensuring it doesn't get stale quite yet.

Jonatanas Kazlauskas "Sorry" Performance

Contestant Jonatanas Kazlauskas from the 2015 season of X Factor Lithuania is going viral on sites like Reels and TikTok for his fumbled performance of the Justin Bieber song "Sorry."

@riskyhack2 There is full video 😭😭🤣#fyp #lithuania ♬ original sound – シ•𝐍𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞•シ

In the video, which recently resurfaced on TikTok and Reels, Kazlauskas gets on stage ready to sing "Sorry" and dance his heart out. Unfortunately, his moves don't come off so well, and neither does his vocal performance as Kazlauskas struggles to keep pitch and remember the lyrics to the song.

He manages to at least somewhat recover the performance about halfway through, but ultimately it's not enough, making for a very funny video and viral gold.

The video went viral and inspired a fair bit of mockery towards Kazlauskas, including claims that he's the "Temu Justin Bieber." Others were a bit nicer and edited the video together with Kazlauskas' more successful clips, showing that he does actually have some talent.

Fun fact: Kazlauskas was not eliminated for the performance of "Sorry," and almost made it to the end of the season thanks to viewer votes.

Examples

@trispouring Jonathanas, a Lithuanian contestant on X Factor, unexpectedly became a full-blown internet phenomenon after his performance of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry.” Walking onto the stage with confidence, he delivered the song with an unusually intense and emotional style that immediately stood out from the typical pop covers viewers are used to. His dramatic facial expressions, stretched vocal runs, and raw delivery left both the judges and the audience visibly confused, creating that perfect moment where something is so unexpected it becomes unforgettable. Within hours, clips of the performance started circulating across TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, where users turned it into memes, edits, remixes, and ironic praise posts. What really pushed Jonathanas into meme status was how seriously he took the performance -- there was no hint of irony, which made the contrast even funnier for viewers online. Some people joked that he “redefined” the song, while others compared the performance to a fever dream or an experimental art piece. Despite the mixed reactions, many also respected the confidence it takes to perform so boldly on such a big stage. Whether people were laughing, cringing, or genuinely impressed, almost everyone agreed on one thing: the performance was impossible to ignore. In the end, Jonathanas proved that in the age of social media, you don’t need a perfect vocal to go viral -- you just need a moment that sticks. #meme #xfactor #viral #sorry #funny ♬ original sound – fm

David Baszucki Curse Posts

Finally, Roblox CEO David Baszucki was cursed by unhappy gamers this week after it was announced that the game would replace all "classic heads" with dynamic heads.

The Roblox Corporation recently announced that it would remove players' classic heads in favor of dynamic heads. For those who don't know, a dynamic head features facial animations and a classic head does not.

Players hated this announcement, as it meant losing valuable items they've held onto for years. To try and remedy it, Roblox announced that the animations could be turned off and that the classic heads would be replaced with 1:1 replicas, but that still didn't leave players happy.

So, as any rational gamer would do, Roblox players started casting curses and hexes on Baszucki through very creepy posts on X / Twitter, TikTok and beyond in some attempt to make his life truly horrible.

These posts typically feature creepypasta-inspired edits of Baszucki, many of which reference the removal of heads and faces.

The memes blew up this past week and got many wondering whether or not Baszucki prefers the curses over the recent petition to have him removed as CEO.

Keep your head up, Baszucki. Just as long as it's not a dynamic head.
