Casino Butter Girl

Did you know that the casino butter at the Black Rock Bar & Grill does not go directly on the stone? Well, if you've been on Twitter this week, you probably should, because the discourse has been immense and unavoidable.

This past week, a 2024 video of a waitress at the Black Rock Bar & Grill searing a steak at a diner's table resurfaced and went viral, becoming a meme.

Several aspects of the video caught viewers' attention, including the waitress herself, the arguably bad sear on the steak and the term "casino butter," which a lot of people had never heard of before.

The video inspired a ton of memes about the horrible things that might happen if you put casino butter directly on the stone, which the woman in the video warns the patrons against.

It also probably got a lot of people Googling "casino butter" and realizing that it's a real thing, not just some made-up insanity by the people over at Black Rock Bar.

Ultimately, the video goes to show that Twitter users can make anything a big deal, even a throwaway old video of a server searing a steak.

Steel Ball Run Episode Two

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans feel cheated after being given one episode of Steel Ball Run with no set release date for the second, and now they're making memes about it.

Fans of the anime series have been waiting a long time for the adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure part seven, and that wait seemed like it was at an end when Netflix released the first episode in March 2026.

But after a week had passed, a second episode was nowhere to be seen. Netflix promised it was coming in 2026, but it did not specify an exact date.

This hasn't sat well with Steel Ball Run fans, who are now starving for the second episode. Not only are they posting memes that snarkily assume that the episode won't drop for decades, but they're also spamming some creepy anti-piracy screen style memes under not only Netflix's social media videos, but every video they can find as a sort of curse or threat towards Netflix.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans clearly take this very seriously, but the likelihood that Netflix will speed up the release because of the memes seems pretty slim.

These Nuggets Ain't Ready

Rapper and content creator KSI once again became the subject of memes this week for his old song "Adam's Apple" and the way he introduces the track.

In the song, KSI opens with a laugh and the growling line, "These n----s ain't ready." However, because of the way he growls, the lyrics can easily be misinterpreted as, "These nuggets ain't ready."

This was noticed by a TikToker in mid-March, who pointed out the misinterpretation over a video of some cold chicken nuggets on a baking tray.

The misheard lyrics meme started going viral this past week as people continued to purposefully misinterpret the line and make memes inspired by the misinterpretation. One of the most viral examples shows KSI waiting outside of a microwave for his chicken nuggets to finish.

Other memes include Accuracy Reenactments, in which TikTokers try to recreate KSI's line delivery as accurately as possible.

Egg McBig

The One Piece fandom has come up with their own Graggle Simpson character, and his name is Egg McBig.

Egg McBig, a rotund gentleman with green hair and no arms, comes from the insane mind of Redditor Zodiatron, who posted their creation to the /r/OnePiece subreddit at the end of March.

The character was designed as a way to make fun of the series' side characters, and a lot of the subreddit's users agreed with the premise, with the post gaining over 7,000 upvotes in about a week.

Word of Egg McBig spread across social media over the next few days as One Piece fans drew their own fan art of him. Many pretended that the character was real, playing into similar jokes about fan-made characters like Graggle Simpson.

Now, Egg McBig fans are making up lore for the character and inventing tragic backstories for his life, transforming him from a simple, one-off meme to an entire meme format.

Finally, this past week gave us 2026's Dashcon with the Barbie Dream Fest, an event that was promoted by Mattel itself and severely underdelivered on its promises, according to many attendees.

Barbie Dream Fest was meant to be a fun weekend experience and meet-up for Barbie fans. It promised a variety of interactive attractions, a "star-studded panel," and "unforgettable experiences."

Well, the event was certainly unforgettable, but probably not in the way that the team behind Barbie Dream Fest had hoped.

Upon arriving at the event, attendees noticed that it was more of a nightmare fest than a dream fest. The warehouse setup of the whole thing looked more like the Glasgow Wonka Experience than what was advertised, with only a few lame excuses for "interactive attractions" sprinkled around the place.

It seems like every year we get blessed with a new Fyre Fest-style event at this point, and Barbie Dream Fest is a welcome addition to the growing list.

Here's hoping 2027's bad event is an even bigger trainwreck. Who knows, maybe we'll even get another this year?
