Mommy wants you to sit down and read the newest edition of the Weekly Meme Roundup, please, where we explain five of the biggest memes of the past week to help keep you relevant.

This week on the internet, a new animated pilot called Gameoverse made its mark on social media, a prominent looksmaxxer got mogged by a judge, a realistic version of the Trollface meme brought the meme back from the dead and more.

Here are five memes that you need to know about from the past week.

Gameoverse

A new animated pilot from the people over at Glitch Productions called Gameoverse is the talk of social media, as many have already fallen in love with its cat girl protagonist Kit.

The pilot arrives hot on the heels of another animated pilot, Planetronika, which made it to last week's Meme Roundup.

This animation centers around the so-called "Gameoverse," a universe made up of different video game worlds. If the villain of one of these worlds is destroyed, that whole world is annihilated. Kit looks to stop that from happening by traveling to different game worlds and defeating their protagonists before they can destroy each given world.

A lot of people are praising the concept of the series, the characters and the designs overall. Predictably, the series has already inspired a bunch of fan art and content.

Just as predictably, it also inspired some discourse over on X as people debated whether or not the characters in the animation were designed to appeal to the male gaze or not.

Now, repeat after me, "please do not the cat."

Realistic Troll Face

Your favorite Rage Comic character Trollface is back, but this time, he's realistic, AI-generated and pulling le epic pranks on teachers everywhere.

The "Realistic Troll Face" comes to us from Instagram user Linus Ekenstam, who, in November 2025, posted a bizarre AI-generated video of the character saying, "Hey! You might know me already, but I’m here to introduce myself as the most famous man on the internet. The main question, though, what does a simple man like me do for a living?"

While the character doesn't explain what he does for a living in the video, it would appear that he likes to pull pranks, because at the end of April 2026, TikToker @tyymemes started posting images where he uses a screenshot of the Realistic Troll Face to pull pranks on his teachers.

These pranks, which involve getting teachers to open emails, programs, etc. that contain the face, blew up throughout May. Then, the AI video by Ekenstam started blowing up independently as a meme, as TikTokers edited it in absurd ways, offering the biggest renaissance period for Trollface in a while. Welcome back, old friend.

"Excuse Me Sir" Billy Butcher Edits

The Boys TV series has just ended, and one of the final memes to come out during its run is now confirmed to be the so-called "Excuse Me Sir" Billy Butcher edits.

These memes started when an edit based on The Boys comics was uploaded to TikTok by @timandmichael4.

The edit is set to the song "Charlie's Inferno" by That Handsome Devil, and it features two very important images that have now become memes: an image of Billy Butcher with his eyes closed, head up and smiling, and an image of Homelander pulling off a mask with an evil grin on his face.

As the edit went viral, it inspired a host of memes on sites like TikTok, Reels and more. Some of these memes include similar video edits that use alternate imagery, memes about larping as a fan of The Boys, and a cute little trend where pets with their heads in the air are compared to the image of Butcher, also known as the "Excuse Me Sir Guy," as he's being called by the biggest larpers out there.

Chad Judge

Everyone's favorite looksmaxxing goober Clavicular appeared in court recently, and even more devastating than the 20 hours of community service he was given was the fact that the Chad judge totally mogged him, according to the internet.

Clavicular found himself in court after a video of him shooting an already-dead alligator went viral on social media. Despite the alligator that he shot being dead, Clavicular still wound up with 20 hours of community service and a mandatory wildlife safety course, since that too is a crime.

Unfortunately for Clavicular and the state of his clout, he is not allowed to film or stream himself doing any of that community service.

While all of this makes for a pretty interesting plot arc for those following the wacky antics of Clavicular, what made it even better was the appointed judge, who was a total Chad.

Memes about the judge frame mogging Clavicular started going viral alongside clips from his court appearance, pointing out how the judge seems to fit the ideal looksmaxxing aesthetic more than Clavicular himself.

Fortunately, Clav's fans had his back, and some even made PSL scale comparisons of the two in an attempt to prove that Clav actually did mog the judge. But at the end of the day, is the mog not in the eye of the beholder? Think about it.

Mommy Wants the New Dune Game

Finally, a woman's attempt to get Dune: Awakening for free resurfaced this week, and this time it became a meme format that reinterprets the viral tweet in new and outlandish ways.

Back in June 2025, an X user named Sabre went viral after posting a selfie next to the Steam purchase page for Dune: Awakening and writing, "Mommy wants the new Dune game, please."

This tweet didn't go over so well for Sabre, who was bashed in the comments for begging the internet for a free video game. The most brutal comment of all read, "Mommy should seek employment," which was screenshotted along with the post and went viral through reposts over the next year.

Then, Forza Horizon 6 was released, and an X user decided to recreate the tweet, only with a request for Forza instead of Dune: Awakening. This tweet brought forth a wave of memes that reinterprate the format of the original.

These memes share the original Sabre selfie next to another image and a caption where "mommy" asks for something, whether it's a video game, help in defeating an evil force or a 20-inch smallmouth bass. You know, all the typical stuff that a woman might want in her day-to-day life.
