The Weekly Meme Roundup: What's A Father, Omega Shenron, American Woman In Pakistan And More
Welcome back to the weekly meme roundup. This week, social media took a break from all those tiresome political memes and focused on the things that really matter: cringe videos, the music of Fetty Wap and Dragon Ball.
Some of the biggest memes of the week included Omega Shenron becoming a school teacher and taking a break from being a villain, people blasting Fetty Wap's music in inappropriate places and a bizarrely intriguing story about an American woman's disastrous trip to Pakistan to find love.
Here are five of the biggest memes of the past week that you need to catch up on.
Omega Shenron as a Teacher & In My 10 Days Of Teaching…
The Dragon Ball character Omega Shenron decided to pursue a new career path recently and entered the world of teaching. Unfortunately, his students aren't making it easy on him.
Memes imagining Omega Shenron as a teacher have been blowing up on Twitter / X and Reddit recently thanks to a single meme from a dream by Redditor u/Esagonoso. The memes imagine a school full of Dragon Ball characters who can't seem to behave, with one prime example being Dende, who simply won't stop getting faded in the school bathroom. While Omega Shenron might be pretty threatening as a supervillain, he really can't catch a break as a teacher.
The memes became so popular that they even inspired a spinoff format based on an image of Omega Shenron telling his class, "In my 10 days of teaching I've never seen a class this bad." It's a classic teacher line, and now it's become an exploitable format in which Shenron is replaced with other characters.

American Woman In Pakistan
Thirty-three-year-old New Yorker Onijah Robinson has been the talk of social media recently after she divorced her husband, with whom she has two children, to fly to Pakistan and marry a 19-year-old. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as she'd hoped.
@kickoffkings01 NEW: New York woman flies to Pakistan to meet and marry a teenager, demands $100,000 from the government after the teen’s parents objected. 33-year-old Onijah Andrew Robinson said during a press conference that she plans to reconstruct all of Pakistan. Robinson was seen camping out outside 19-year-old Nidal Ahmed Memon’s house after his parents shot down the alleged relationship. After the family reportedly fled the area, Robinson held press conferences, sharing her bold new vision for Pakistan. “My plan is to rebuild this entire country. I'm asking for $100k, and I need $20k in cash by the end of this week. That's my demand from the government.” The New Yorker reportedly refused flights back to the United States. A man claiming to be her son, Jeremiah Robinson, says she suffers from a “mental bipolar disorder,” and they are working to get her home. After making her way to Pakistan, Robinson's marriage plans were reportedly shut down by the 19-year-old Nidal Ahmed Memon's parents. To make matters worse, a visa problem kept her from leaving the country, resulting in Robinson being stuck at the airport for days.
Her visa was extended, but rather than return home, Robinson decided to set up camp outside of Memon's house, hoping for the marriage to be approved. Robinson was brought to a shelter to stay until her flight, where she held a press conference urging Memon to make things right.
Unfortunately for Robinson, she did not leave Pakistan married to Memon. Another guy filmed himself traveling to Karachi, where Memon lives, to try and marry Robinson himself, but that also never resulted in anything.
Basically, the whole adventure was for nothing and all it did was turn Robinson into a meme, with videos of her talking about the incident going viral and becoming lip-dub sounds on TikTok. Better luck next time.

What's A Father?
The tragic, untimely death of rapper XXXTentacion had a massive cultural impact on his young fans and the world in general. Unfortunately, that doesn't prevent old, cringe clips of him from going viral seven years after the fact.
A video of XXXTentacion dramatically asking, "What's a father?" after being asked about his relationship with his dad has become one of the biggest memes of the year this week.
It's hard to deny how try-hard edgy the rapper comes off in the clip, quickly propelling it from a relatively unknown moment in the rapper's legacy to one of the most painful cringe videos in recent memory.
As a meme, the phrase, "What's that? What's a father?" is being altered to reference other subjects, like a meme that replaces "father" with "Big Chungus" or a truly inspired edit that changes XXXTentacion into a puffer fish for no real reason.
It's a surprisingly versatile meme from an unfortunate subject, but it's a meme nonetheless and the people of the internet simply can't help but tear it apart.

Blasting Fetty Wap On the JBL Speakers
One of the internet's favorite things to do is imagine what it might be like to introduce, say, Victorian children to modern technology. That meme has been brought to another, very specific level recently with memes about blasting Fetty Wap on JBL speakers.
@justachillguy.345 I was on that ship #fyp #jblspeaker #fettywap ♬ original sound – justachillguy.345
The meme started from a TikTok video asking the much-pondered question, "How do you think the pilgrims would react if I pulled up to the Mayflower with my JBL speaker and introduced them to Fetty Wap?" This led users down a path laden with memes about playing Fetty Wap, specifically on JBL speakers, in the most inappropriate places possible.
Some of the best examples are about playing Fetty Wap during historical moments, while others are about playing the rapper during funerals, weddings and anywhere else that Fetty might not be the best choice.
There's just something funny about the idea of blowing long-dead historical figures' minds with modern music. How might society be different if someone went back in time and blasted Fetty Wap in the Trojan Horse, during the Crusades or at the Battle of Waterloo? We'll never know, but it's certainly something worth thinking about.

Beyoncé's Surprised Grammy Reaction GIF
Beyonce continues to be a neverending source of memes in 2025, with her surprised reaction to winning the Grammy for "Best Country Album" becoming a strong meme following the event.

A lot of people loved Beyonce's foray into country music with her album Cowboy Carter, but based on her reaction, it seems like she wasn't expecting to take home the prize at the Grammy Awards.
When her win was announced, Beyonce got up and struck a wide-eyed, stiff-armed expression that almost instantly became a meme on Instagram and Twitter. Mostly, it's being used in image macros as a reaction image to express, well, shock.
It's a simple, classic meme format from a well-memed person and, with its widespread normie appeal, it simply can't be ignored. Whether you care about the Grammys or not, you're going to see this one floating around social media.
