A woman's stay at an Airbnb took an unexpected turn when she discovered a hidden bedroom inspired by the fantasy world of The Chronicles of Narnia.

What initially appeared to be an ordinary closet concealed an entrance behind a curtain and a row of hanging clothes, leading to a secret space that surprised the guests.

Describing the discovery as "the most random thing we did not expect," the woman shared footage of the unusual accommodation on social media last week, which rapidly went viral and garnered over 1.8 million views on TikTok since.

The discovery was documented by a Montana-based content creator who runs the TikTok account @Home_Made_Kinkade, where she shares glimpses of her everyday life with her husband, Mark, and their sons. Her content primarily focuses on family activities, baking, coffee and other aspects of life in Montana.

Although she had previously experienced a viral moment in 2025, most of her posts feature casual updates about her family's daily routines and experiences.

The unusual find at her vacation rental marked the account's second major viral success, introducing a much larger audience to the family's adventures outside their home in Montana.

The secret room's design evoked the magical wardrobe from The Chronicles of Narnia, in which the characters discover a hidden fantasy world through an ordinary piece of furniture.

The unexpected connection to the beloved children's books added a nostalgic element to the experience, making the rental property's unusual design particularly memorable.

The video starts with the woman filming a loft-like space in a house primarily made out of wood. "The most random thing we did not expect at this Airbnb," the woman writes, as a cover of the song "The Wardrobe" from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe's soundtrack begins playing.

The video pans over to a room connected to the loft, which contains two beds and carpet flooring. The woman continues panning over to a wardrobe inside the room with dark wooden doors and fancy-looking handles.

The woman opens the wardrobe to reveal the clothes inside and a white curtain behind them. She steps inside the wardrobe and pushes the curtain aside to reveal the entrance to a small bedroom.

The room's decorations are very clearly Narnia-inspired, as she is greeted with little fake pine trees, a big lion plushie, snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, two beaver plushies, and wallpaper featuring a snowy forest landscape.

"Aslan, Aslan!" she says fake-dramatically, grabbing the lion's head and turning it towards the camera.

"Regretting not bringing my boys on this trip because they would have spent the WHOLE time in here playing," she writes in her video's caption.

In the comments, people made Narnia-related jokes, while others expressed that they themselves would sleep in the secret bedroom, even as grown adults.

The woman also made a follow-up video. It begins just like the original video, except that when the person filming enters the secret room, she's there.

She pretends to be the character Mr. Tumnus and says his lines in a fake British accent. The person filming also says a quote from the film in a fake British accent.

"Another view of our Airbnb surprise 😂. We had too much fun here goofing around. And yes, I did sleep in there," she writes in that video’s caption.
