Draymond Green, once an integral part of the Golden State Warriors championship dynasty and now more the NBA equivalent of Mike Tyson due to his myriad suspensions resulting from physical violence, has finally reached his comeuppance and received an indefinite suspension from the league for crossing the line one too many times.

On Tuesday, Green was guarded by Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić. With what appeared to be little provocation, Green swung wildly around and, perhaps inadvertently, delivered a brutal right hook to Nurkić.

The league stressed that Green's repeated problematic behavior led to his indefinite suspension. He will need to meet certain, unnamed conditions in order to be reinstated by the league.

This seemed fitting in the eyes of basketball fans, many of whom had grown accustomed to Green serving a suspension or otherwise generating headlines for his violent attitude and play. As such, many fans posted jokes about Draymond's consequences.

However, not everyone seemed to think that Green's suspension was necessary. One user posted a picture of Green and his family, asking why people hate such an innocent-looking man. However, as several users pointed out, the post was reminiscent of how violent criminals are portrayed in the media, a la the He Was A Good Man… Until He Wasn't meme.
