15 Wild Encounters From Job Searching Journeys

The amount of anxiety that is created during the search for a new job is crazy. Even though there are so many places hiring, that claim to be short-staffed, there are so many more people without jobs. The job search process and the requirements for some of these companies is crazy these days. Having to go through 12 hours of interviews has become somewhat normal, especially for recent graduates. As if graduating wasn't stressful enough. Beyond that, some of the questions on these interviews or in the application are just wild, like questionably so. And if all that wasn't enough, most of the time the pay is not what it should be.

So all-in-all, looking for a job, no matter who someone is, is just a massive headache. To prove it, Reddit users who are sick and tired of it all share their worst moments from the job search process for the world to see and shake their heads at. Here are just 15 of those overly stressful, and somewhat shocking moments and experiences Redditors went through while searching for a job.

Oh yikes

In the state of Missouri breaks are not mandatory. We give them to help control labor! We also don't have to let you work any amount of time before we cut the floor there is no guideline in Missouri ! With that being said we do have to give 15 year old breaks. So I need everyone to understand we are short staff so lay off about the brakes if we can give you a break we will. But if we cant stop the attitude! From this week schedule there will be no set schedule!!! For anyone Thanks Kimberly

Interview payment We pay £75 to everyone we interview (even if you don't. get the job)* Why do we do this? We believe you should be paid for your time (even before we hire you). Applying for a job, and prepping for an interview takes time. This is the least we can do. *We may also ask you to do a social media task for us (this will be paid for separately)
